With Classical Music Playing..
Aimed at older adults and set to beautiful piano music, Seated Swans is an exercise class with carefully crafted exercises drawing upon the principles of ballet technique, (however this is not a ballet class).
Each exercise and class is thoughtfully structured to promote strength, mobility, and balance while prioritizing safety and accessibility.
From gentle warm-up exercises to work using small fitness props such a resistance bands, blocks, balls and straps, participants are guided through a diverse range of seated exercises (on a chair), and standing, (at the barre) that engage and challenge both body and mind.
There is no mat work on the floor in this class.

Improve your dance-life balance!
The health benefits of dance are well documented. Scientific research shows that 75% of the factors affecting quality of life and longevity are related to lifestyle, while only 25% are hereditary.
This means that there’s no excuse for not getting more active whatever your age, and dance in particular can play a vital role in ensuring a longer and better quality of life.
Research also often puts dance ahead of other physical activities in the variety of health benefits that it brings.
