Set to a quiet playlist of beautiful piano music, this is an exercise class with carefully crafted exercises thoughtfully structured to promote strength, mobility, and balance while prioritizing safety and accessibility.
From gentle warm-up exercises to work using small fitness props such a resistance bands, blocks, balls and straps, participants are guided through a diverse range of seated exercises (on a chair), and standing, (at the barre) that engage and challenge both body and mind.
There is no mat work on the floor in this class.

We work the body from all the way from the feet the head and finger tips.
The class is set to beautiful classical piano music.
We incorporate small fitness props, such as resistance bands and therapy massage balls into the class for movement diversity.
Who is it suitable for?
Aimed at older adults, this is a wonderful option for anyone who finds it difficult to lie down on a mat to exercise, wants to improve their balance or as a pathway to get back to moving your body again after illness or injury.
Total beginners welcome, perfect for anyone who would like to improve their range of motion, mobility, posture, coordination and energy levels.
Most importantly these classes are designed to be enjoyable and fun. A chance to grow your social circle and to benefit from the wellbeing that music- led movement brings.
What do I wear?
Comfortable clothes you can move in. Ensure there are no tripping hazard. Wear socks or bare feet.
Bring a bottle of water.

Classes are held at Chapel House Studios, Station Road, Totnes TQ9 5HW.
